About Eddie

Songwriter • Publisher • Author

Born in Los Angeles and raised outside New York City, Eddie Devine is a songwriter, publisher, and author. Eddie’s career in the music industry began when music publisher Doug Stebleton signed him to his first publishing agreement through Transition Music in Hollywood, California. Later, Doug placed one of Eddie’s songs on ABC’s television series Doogie Howser, M.D.

Over the years, Eddie continued writing and developing songs across multiple genres, including Christian Contemporary, Christian Worship, Christian Hip Hop, Country, and R&B. His songwriting reflects a passion for meaningful lyrics, memorable melodies, and songs that connect with listeners through authentic experiences and honest emotions.

Today, Eddie’s songwriting, publishing, and creative projects are represented through Eddie Devine Music, the public-facing brand that serves as the home for his music catalog, books, publishing interests, and future creative endeavors. Through the catalog, Eddie continues to write songs for artists, worship settings, personal projects, and future licensing opportunities.

In addition to songwriting, Eddie is the founder of Intercession Music Works (ASCAP), the publishing company responsible for administering and representing the Eddie Devine Music catalog. Operating under Intercession Music Group, Intercession Music Works supports publishing, licensing, catalog development, and creative opportunities designed to help songs reach artists, ministries, media projects, and new audiences.

Beyond music, Eddie is also an author. His flagship project, My Story. His Glory., grew from a call he answered to write a Christian Hip Hop album. What began as a songwriting project eventually expanded into a broader body of work that includes an album, memoir, devotional, and inspirational resources that share the stories behind the songs and the experiences that inspired them.

Whether writing songs, developing publishing opportunities, creating new projects, or speaking at select events, Eddie remains committed to creating work that is authentic and built to last.
